Drinks
Fresh watermelon, lime and black salt come together in this cooling twist on classic nimbu pani, perfect for hot summer afternoons.

Ingredients
6 cups seedless watermelon, cut into cubes
½ cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
2–3 tablespoons sugar or honey, to taste
2 cups cold water
½ teaspoon Motherland Black Salt
A small pinch of regular salt
Ice
Optional: Fresh mint
Optional: Thin lime slices for serving
Directions
Add the watermelon to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
Strain if you'd like a smoother drink. We usually don't bother.
Stir in the lime juice, sugar or honey, water, black salt and a small pinch of regular salt.
Taste.
Add more lime if it needs brightness. More sugar if the watermelon wasn't trying very hard. Another pinch of black salt if you want a little more tang.
Pour over plenty of ice.
Finish with mint or a slice of lime if you're feeling slightly more organized than usual.
